Jeff is said to be taking legal action in a bid to prevent her from seeing her grandson Freddy.
Jade Goody’s mum has spoken out for the first time since it was reported that Jeff Brazier, who had two sons with Jade, sought legal advice to stop their son Freddy from seeing their grandmother.
Jackiey Brazier has experienced a tense relationship with Jeff, Jade’s former partner of two years and father to their children, Bobby, 21, and Freddy, 20. The situation intensified recently with claims that Jeff consulted solicitors to obstruct the young model and television personality from visiting Jackiey.
Jade Goody passed away at the age of 27 in 2009 following her battle with cervical cancer, leaving behind her sons when they were just five and four years old. In past statements, Jackiey expressed her intention to hold off on her criticisms of their father until her grandsons were grown, after admitting that her previous conduct had made him feel like a “mean parent”.
However, now breaking her silence following the news of Jeff’s legal endeavours, Jackiey commented: “I know what this is all about,” and dismissively added regarding her dispute with Jeff: “It (the situation with Jeff) doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter.

“Of course I do,” she affirmed when asked if she wished to spend time with her grandson. “I see Freddy all of the time, I will see him,” she further told the Mail.
Jeff Brazier, who gained fame on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, is reportedly engaging legal counsel for an upcoming court hearing, aiming to shield his son Freddy from what he perceives as a harmful relationship that has negatively impacted the boy’s wellbeing. This legal move is the latest development in a longstanding dispute between Jeff and Jade Goody’s mother, reports the Mirror.
Insiders allege that following disputes with his father, Freddy would frequently appear at Jackiey Budden’s residence in Bermondsey, seeking solace with his grandmother. “Freddy will often turn up on the doorstep, sometimes very unhappy, and wanting to see his nan,” shared a source, highlighting the severity of the arguments between father and son. “He and Jeff often argue, the rows can be bad, things go really, really pear-shaped between them and that’s it, he leaves.”
Despite Jackiey’s own challenges, which she openly acknowledges, she provides a space where Freddy feels comfortable expressing himself, something he struggles to find with Jeff.
