Pete Wicks Looks Happier Than Ever During Catch-Up with Strictly Co-Star Jowita Przystal

Pete Wicks appeared in high spirits as he reunited with his stunning Strictly co-star Jowita Przystal at London’s Adelphi Theatre on Tuesday – months after shutting down rumours of a romance between the pair.

The TV personality, 37, cut a smart casual figure in a brown suede button-up jacket and white jeans, beaming for cameras as he posed alongside his former dance partner, 30, ahead of Karen Hauer & Gorka Marquez‘s Speakeasy Tour.

He completed his look with a classic white T-shirt and a pair of polished brown leather shoes.

Meanwhile, Jowita looked effortlessly chic in a white linen shirt layered under a structured black blazer.

She finished her look with a black tie and accessorised with gold hoop earrings as she joined Pete on the red carpet.

The beauty wore her dark blonde tresses in a slick hairstyle and opted for a glowing makeup palette to complete her sophisticated ensemble.

Last year, Pete firmly denied rumours of a romance with his Strictly partner following intense speculation during their time on the show.

The former TOWIE star and the professional dancer had sparked whispers of a budding romance amid their close partnership and chemistry during rehearsals.

However, during a joint appearance on This Morning last October – just days after confirming his then relationship with Maura Higgins – Pete set the record straight.

Host Alison Hammond kicked off the interview, by asking: ‘Do you actually listen to the judges or are you just in your own little world?’

Pete admitted: ‘I’m just in my own little world, we’re in a bit of a bubble when we dance!’ causing Alison to jump to the opportunity to probe them about their rumoured relationship, cheekily asking: ‘Is it a love bubble?’

However, he insisted: ‘It’s not a love bubble unfortunately…’ before poking fun at Alison, saying: ‘I mean you came in early, that was about 30 seconds before you went in with it!’

Alison laughed and confessed: ‘I was straight in there!’ as Pete continued: ‘You were straight in there! No, it’s not a love bubble, we have great chemistry because we’ve become such good friends.’

Gesturing to Jowita, he gushed: ‘She’s one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met, genuinely, not just in the dancing side of things but outside of that and I think that helps us with the whole dancing thing.’

When asked if they found the constant speculation frustrating, Pete admitted: ‘Yeah, it’s always the same, I’m used to it.

‘Ten years that’s all anyone ever interested in that side of stuff… but we don’t really listen to that stuff.’

Dermot O’Leary was quick to defend his co-host, explaining that Pete’s best friend Sam Thompson had been spreading rumours.

He insisted: ‘The thing is we’re not like that, it’s not our fault it’s Sam’s fault! Sam comes on and is like, “Oh no he’s totally in love!” and is bouncing off the walls.’

Pete joked: ‘I blame Sam for most things that happen in my life, so there’s no surprise there either. But no, it’s not like that, we’ve become such good friends.’

During their time on Strictly, the pair were said to have hit it off immediately, with insiders claiming their chemistry had ‘set tongues wagging’ behind the scenes.

However, in October last year, it was confirmed that Pete had found love with fellow reality star Maura, 33, with the pair being pictured kissing during a date.

Though first linked in August, they didn’t confirm their relationship until late October.

However, in February this year, it was revealed that Pete and Maura had called it quits after a series of rows.

A source told MailOnline at the time: ‘Maura and Pete have decided to call off their romance.

‘There have been a few clashes and it was eventually agreed they were better off as friends.
