FREDDY Brazier’s stepmum has posted a photo cuddling him while sharing a heartbreaking message about grief.
The photo comes after Freddy’s dad Jeff launched a legal battle to ban his son from seeing his grandma – the mum of late Big Brother star Jade Goody.

Freddy’s stepmum Kate Brazier could be seen lying down on the sofa in the doting photo.
She laughed with the 20-year-old while sweetly placing a hand on his head.
And in a second throwback image, Kate could be seen sitting in a similar position with Freddy’s older brother Bobby placing his arm around her as she watched TV.
Kate posted a lengthy caption to accompany the photos, writing: “One of the biggest things this grief has left me with, if I am being really honest, is much more empathy for other people who have had life changing loss. None more so than these two .
“If how I have felt most days for the last four months (furious with the world and like I want to tear my way out of my skin so I don’t have to feel what I’m feeling) is anything to go by, then I cannot begin to imagine how they have felt losing the most important person in their life.
“16 years ago today they lost their mum. It’s always a tough day.”
Kate continued: “5 years later I turned up, at just 24, without a clue what I was doing or how to help. I wish I knew then what I know now. I understand so much better some of the challenges we have faced (and there have been many!) and I can absolutely see where they get their empathy, kindness and understanding of others from. I can only hope to have half of that.
“Sending love to anyone grieving.”
Kate’s post came 16 years after Freddy and Bobby’s mum Jade died of cervical cancer aged 27, when Freddy was just four and his EastEnders actor brother Bobby was five.
The boys’ dad Jeff has now hired a leading barrister to block contact between model Freddy, 20, and Jade’s mum Jackiey Budden, 68.
Freddy regularly stays with Jackiey and previously posted a video on TikTok of himself openly taking drugs at her flat in Bermondsey, south east London.
A source close to the Brazier family said of Jeff’s action: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep Freddy safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his well being for a long time now.
“The fact that he is going down this route shows how concerned we all our and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people.’’
Jackie has reportedly spoken out about the feud saying “I know what this is all about”.
During last year’s BBC show Celebrity Race Across The World Freddy spoke openly about his challenges with mental health and his relationship with his father who brought him up since losing mum in 2009.
He said of his relationship with his dad on the programme: “At times where I’ve pushed him away he has pulled even harder to pull me back in.
“I don’t think I praise my dad enough for everything he has done for me but he knows the love.”
