Jade Goody’s mother Jackiey Budden has had a long-running feud with Jeff Brazier, with the TV presenter taking legal action to prevent her from seeing his youngest son, Freddy.
Jade Goody’s mum Jackiey Budden has reportedly called Jeff Brazier “a c***” in a foul-mouthed rant.
Jackiey, who is the maternal grandmother to Bobby, 21, and his brother Freddie, 20, has had a rocky relationship with her late daughter’s ex.
This past weekend, reports emerged that Jeff, a father of two, has kicked off legal action to stop his 20-year-old son Freddy from seeing Jackiey. The Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins celeb is apparently trying to cut ties between his youngest and Jade’s mum.
Flashback to 2023, and EastEnders star Bobby had everyone at the National Television Awards welling up when he scooped the Rising Star award and delivered a speech that left his dad Jeff and the crowd in tears. But the buzz around his win was tinged by his gran Jackiey’s alleged dig at his dad during the event.

The Sun spilled the beans that 68 year old Jackiey, who’d snagged a ticket to the bash, was caught saying how chuffed she was with Bobby before having a pop at Jeff, spilling: “I’m so proud of him [Bobby]. He’s incredible. They didn’t know I was there. I didn’t allow them to know I was there. I didn’t want to see their dad. He’s a c***. But I’m going to wait until they’re older before I let rip.”
Jeff, who became a dad to Bobby and Freddie with the late Jade Goody before she passed away in 2009, has been open about his rocky relationship with his ex-mother-in-law over time. In a candid chat with HuffPost back in 2012, Jeff confessed that Jackiey’s antics often left him feeling like the “mean parent”, reports the Mirror.

He also recalled a similar situation with mobile phones, saying: “This happened before with mobile phones. Yep, a year ago she got them a phone each so she could have direct contact with them both and I don’t remember being asked if I minded on that occasion either.”
Jeff lamented: “I understand she wants direct contact but they are just too young to be carrying these things around responsibly so we keep them to the house. I can’t fault Jackiey when she’s got the boys, I just wish we could work together a little better.”
It seems the relationship between Jeff and Jackiey has reached an all-time low, with Jeff initiating legal action against his ex’s mother concerning his youngest son, Freddie. Freddie had allegedly been at odds with his father and would often leave the house after heated arguments to stay with his grandmother, Jackiey, in her southeast London flat to calm down.
According to recent claims, Jeff, 45, has started legal proceedings and hired a barrister in anticipation of an upcoming hearing. A source revealed to The Sun: “This is something Jeff and anyone who cares about Freddy hopes will help keep him safe from a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his wellbeing for a long time now. The fact that Jeff is going down this route shows how concerned we all are, and how our efforts to keep Fred safe are being grossly undermined by other people..”
