Kelvin and Liz Fletcher, the couple behind ITV’s hit ‘Fletchers Family Farm’ series, have been confirmed as celebrity guests for this year’s Southport Flower Show. The pair join a star-studded lineup which includes Bake Off judges, television presenters and famous cooks.

The UK’s largest independent flower show returns to Victoria Park from August 14 – 17. Taking place each day between 10am and 6pm, guests can enjoy endless floral displays, show gardens, a shopping village, cookery demonstrations, live music and entertainment.

Kelvin and Liz Fletcher will be joining the event on Thursday, August 14. Kelvin rose to fame for his role as Andy Sugden in Emmerdale while Liz boasts an impressive acting career and various production credits.

The couple made a career U-turn by purchasing a 18th-century, 120-acre farm in the Peak District. The pair then starred in their own shows ‘Life on the Farm: The Fletchers’ Inspiring Story’ and ‘Fletchers’ Family Farm: Capturing the Heart of the Countryside’, documenting their life as novice farmers balancing parenthood and rural challenges.

Alan Adams, Southport Flower Show general manager said “We can’t wait to welcome Kelvin and Liz to the show. We have a good mix of gardening guests and celebrity chefs at this year’s show and we know Kelvin and Liz will be a hit with our visitors.

“You will be able to catch them doing two Q&As in the Garden Theatre at 12pm and 3pm.” Early bird tickets are now on sale. Children under 16 go free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Last month, Kelvin and Liz Fletcher issued an update about ‘Fletchers Family Farm’. The series ran every Sunday morning on ITV for eight weeks in October 2023. Series two of the show returned in November last year and a 2024 Christmas special was released which followed the family as they headed to Finland to see what life was like on a farm in Arctic conditions.

The farming journey continued into 2025, with the adventures of the two broadcast every week. In a recent joint Instagram post, the married couple said: “And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in week after week to see our farming journey!

“We are so grateful for all the lovely messages and comments and so happy that you have enjoyed watching it as much as we loved making it! This is only just the beginning! Happy Sunday!”

Kelvin and Liz are the latest celebrity guests to be confirmed following Channel 4 Bake Off star Cherish Finden. She is a decorated pastry chef best known for her role as a judge on Bake Off: The Professionals and pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in a dessert.
