Why Farhad Wanted To Stay In Iran
Farhad Had A Life He Would Be Leaving Behind
Farhad’s position in The Night Agent season 2 is brief but nuanced, examining how a teenager might view a situation like this. To him, the stakes aren’t as significant as what an adult viewer might be able to see. His priorities are his social life and his girlfriend, and he doesn’t really understand the situation at hand or why Noor would want to have him extracted. Given that he planned on joining the army, he might even have been raised to have particular views that would make him loyal to his country.
